I've been on a mission to switch DAWs from LMMS to Ardour given that LMMS seems to have stalled development for the time being and as of writing hasn't released a stable version in about 4 years. Ardour is much more capable than LMMS, but also a little less convenient to use at times due to some clunky UI designs. As such I've been creating some tracks to learn how to use the software and also find my creative groove again after hitting the limitations of LMMS pretty hard and also dealing with burnout from a few years ago.
I've been focusing on using orchestral sampled instruments using sfizz and a number of SFZ sample packs like VS Chamber Orchestra: Community Edition and Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra.
